  • Processing of paperwork averages 4 - 6 months
  • Wage $9.62 - 44 hr. week = $423.28 - average month $1820.00
  • Room and Board allowance deduct $336.00

Live-In Local

  • Shorter placement time and interviewed personally
  • Average one year Canadian work experience
  • Longevity is shorter and higher expectations
  • Beware of local relative/friend interference/control
  • Local applicants are generally not available in country/rural areas
  • Monthly wage average $2000+

Live-Out

  • Canadian work experience - averages minimum three (3) years
  • Excellent for the 8 to 5 family, with no additional expectations
  • Higher expectations (salary, benefits, working hours)
  • Local commitments; 2nd job, family, education, social

At your directive we forward Agency Agreement for signature, upon receipt we forward candidate files for your selection, we also include our Employer Handbook which clarifies Employer Responsibilities; Live-In Caregiver guidlelines; payroll procedure; right way to calculate overtime; Labour Standards; Termination and Replacement; Helpful hints; Agency Policy, etc.
  • We assist in your setting up an employer account for payroll services, and assist with forms and procedures required for the employment of your caregiver.
  • We offer Employer Support Services throughout the entire employment

Agency Agreement:

The full service contract is guaranteed for 12 months. Full replacement, without cost, should employment terminate within the first 90 days, after which prorated toward Agency Agreement for replacement candidate.

The 'right nanny/caregiver' is more important than the starting date. Our temporary services can assist families with interim care while awaiting availability. With the current market temporary caregivers are not always readily available.
